Objective: Communicate NSCC’s vision for high-performance computing (HPC) capabilities and its role in advancing Singapore’s national strategic initiatives.

The Challenge

As Singapore’s national supercomputing resource, NSCC is launching its upgraded petascale supercomputers, ASPIRE 2A and 2A+, at its newly revamped data centre. The challenge was to craft a compelling narrative that highlights NSCC’s role in enabling groundbreaking research, fostering innovation, and strengthening Singapore’s position in the global tech landscape. The video needed to:

  • Showcase NSCC's commitment to HPC and its applications across various industries.

  • Introduce ASPIRE 2A and 2A+ as technological milestones.

  • Inspire government and industry leaders to recognize HPC's critical role in national progress.

While NSCC’s core offering is high-performance computing, it serves as a means to a larger goal: enabling national research and innovation (aligned with RIE2025 objectives). This video acts as a manifesto, rallying audiences to be part of NSCC’s vision for the future.

The narrative follows a symphony analogy:

  • ASPIRE 1 was the first movement, setting the foundation for technological advancements.

  • ASPIRE 2A and 2A+ represent the next movement, orchestrating groundbreaking research and innovation.

  • NSCC, as the maestro, brings together the best minds, technologies, and institutions to create a harmonious vision of the future.

This metaphor allows for a visually engaging and emotionally compelling execution, symbolizing collaboration and technological progress.
