Core Challenge: Celebrate a major 60-year milestone by bridging legacy brand trust with forward-looking digital transformation.


The Challenge & Opportunity

To celebrate its 60th Anniversary, FBSG required a year-long integrated campaign and an aligned visual identity. The project came with a dual-engine challenge:

  1. Generate high-intent leads for the traditional print solutions that built the brand’s 60-year legacy in Singapore.

  2. Accelerate market awareness for FBSG’s emerging digital workplace ecosystems and future solutions.


The Strategic Approach

Instead of a predictable, retrospective corporate anniversary, the strategic framework anchored on a bold creative mantra, the goal was to build an attention-grabbing, exciting, and disruptive presence that honored the global corporate purpose ("Giving our world more smiles") while proving that FBSG is actively shaping the future of work.

To demonstrate creative depth and versatility, I developed three distinct conceptual directions, each attacking the brief from a different high-impact angle:

  • The Angle: Focuses on workplace wellness, employees, and human connection.

  • The Story: Happy workforces drive successful businesses. This concept positions FBSG’s smart, intuitive digital solutions as tools that eliminate bottlenecks, reduce work stress, and boost work-life balance.

  • Tagline: Transforming work, one smile at a time.

  • Visual Identity: Warm, authentic, human-focused imagery highlighting a happy Singapore workforce, built around a vibrant green 60th-anniversary logo badge.


Concept 2: Heart of Innovation

  • The Angle: Focuses on technological pride, passion, and engineering heritage.

  • The Story: Technology transforms lives, but human passion powers it. This narrative highlights the relentless dedication of FBSG’s people over the past 60 years, linking decades of imaging expertise to modern digital transformation.

  • Tagline: Driven by passion, powered by innovation.

  • Visual Identity: Sleek, premium, and dramatic. Uses high-contrast corporate red elements set against a tech-forward Singapore skyline to evoke a sense of continuous kinetic energy and market leadership.


Concept 3: Evolving with Purpose

  • The Angle: Focuses on flexibility, smart workplaces, and sustainability.

  • The Story: The modern workplace is no longer bound by a desk. This concept invites businesses to look toward tomorrow, framing FBSG as an adaptive, ecosystem partner that helps workspaces transition seamlessly into digital, cloud-based, and highly collaborative hubs.

  • Tagline: Innovating for today, evolving for tomorrow.

  • Visual Identity: Modern, clean, and futuristic. Features a shimmering, glass-like teal and emerald palette symbolising clean data streams, agile connectivity, and sustainable business growth.
